Congratulations to the U-i9's for a great year boys.

The U-19 Beav's were very impressive in the last 3 games of the year. Playing a style of power rugby that made all of us all very proud. The drive and commitment  from these young men was awesome to see, and shows how bright our rugby's future looks.

The coaching staff this year deserves a lot of the credit of the success of the Beavers this year. As a fan it was easy to see the special bond between the players and coaches this year and the  drive to play for each other. This is what rugby is all about. To the coaches, again, well done.

The game against Bayside started off fairly even but as the game wore on, the Beav's started to take control of the game. Again it was our power and pursuit to the ball that had Bayside back pedallng late in the game, it was a nice win.   The game Nov. 29 against Capilanos was different, it looked like Capilanos really did not want to be there. It reminded me of the old days when teams would show fear when they walked onto our field. The day was all the U-19's way.

Saturday, against Abbotsford we started well, but on the day Abbotsford was the better team.  On any other day it could have been different, I would love to see them play again next week. Abbotsford played very well, made very few mistakes and they got themselves out of trouble when the Beavers were pressing. The Beavers did make some mistakes that cost them, yes, but I really think the boys may have been guilty of  trying a little to hard. Sometimes a little patience is good.

Awesome U-19 Beavers, it was a pleasure to be a fan.
